Expression of Interest – Brazil Fest @ Queen Victoria Market – 2nd November – 2024

ABRISA – Brazilian Association in Victoria is pleased to announce that we managed to secure a prestigious event location to return to run an annual cultural celebration   – Renamed “Brazil Fest @ QVM”. 

Our aim is to bring to the Victorians, the Brazilian diversity in food, Music and dance, but for this event to be an intercultural activity with several communities. Today Brazilian traders and performers are invited to many festivals, and we believe that sharing the stage with many other cultures is also an important feature of our festival. 

Brazil is a country of many migrant communities starting first with our own First Nations Tupi-Guarani tribes, joined by the Portuguese, Angolan, Ivory Coast and impost colonization peoples from countries such as Germany, Japan, Lebanon, Korea, Italy, Spain and many other countries. 

Effective immediately we are accepting Expressions of interest as follows:

1. Food stall holders who would like to share their culture and this event in our space. 
2. Cultural arts and crafts and other businesses/services (non-food related)
3. Performances (Music/Dance)

Food and Arts and Craft Stallholders

We are seeking a broad range of food and arts and craft stallholders. 

Reserve spot – food stallholder: $200 (Balance payment by 3rd October: $800)

Reserve spot – arts and craft stallholder: $200 (Balance payment by 3rd October: $500)

Note: These prices do not include a Marquee, however, we will seek pricing from three suppliers approved by the Victorian Market.
